# Get Verification Setting

> Check whether verification checks run on your organisation's analyses.

Returns whether verification checks run on your organisation's analyses. Verification checks compare details on a document, such as a company or VAT number, against an authoritative registry. The setting is off by default, so `enabled` is `false` until someone switches it on.

<Note>
  This endpoint requires the verification feature to be enabled for your organisation. Without it, the API returns `403` with `request.organisations.feature-flag.not-enabled`. [Learn more](/guides/feature-modules).
</Note>

## Permission

Requires `organisation_settings:read`. A caller without it receives `403`.
